Items left on the beach are a hazard to nesting sea turtles and hatchlings.

If you can see lights from the beach, sea turtles can too.
Artificial light pollution is a disorienting factor that discourages nesting sea turtles and confuses hatchlings.
We get you dig the beach. We do too. Just leave it flat when you go.
Holes are killers, the turtles cannot go backwards or climb out. Believe it or not, sandcastles are big obstacles for anything crawling on the beach.
